We
had cocktails served to all our wonderful guests at the ground floor of the La Fortuna. Afterwards, our guests were
asked to proceed to the ballroom where the main reception was held.

below was when we were introduced for the first time as , Mr. and Mrs. Humby and Evelyn Martinez
Humby and I were so excited to meet all our guests. We were nervous but it didn't show on our faces at all.
Our wedding song, From This Moment, by Shania Twain, was played, and we were a bit conscious since we knew that
all eyes will be focused on us. But as I said, it's our special day, we believe that we deserve to be given
attention on that particular time.
My brothers,
Rolly and Runnie, who I was so grateful for, danced with me alternately, representing the bride's dance with her father.
Our D.J. mentioned that the dance was especially dedicated to my late Dad. I was tearful during
that time because I miss my Dad and it was only me among my Dad's five daughters, who was not able to dance with him on their
wedding day.
This was
the time when the D.J. asked all the ladies to dance with me. It was really fun and we enjoyed dancing thru the night.
What with
a great D.J. and music we have!!! It was so wonderful and we really enjoyed every moment of it.
Humby also picked the song, Because I Love You, for his dance with his Mom. Humby was so relaxed during
the dance, it was his Mom who we really knew all the while to be with tears in her eyes.
